Minimum APU Admission Requirements
Like many paid universities, Azusa college has minimum admission requirements. If your results match or are above the set values, they will be considered in full. This, however, does not guarantee admission! Please note that below we present admission requirements for freshmen applicants. Demands for transfer and international students are different. You are advised to visit the APU website for more details on these positions. The minimum cumulative high school GPA for freshmen’s application must be 2.51 or higher. That said, SAT and ACT test scores do not influence the admission directly; yet, they may affect the decision to provide additional academic scholarship awards. Apart from that, the applicant’s academic capabilities and extracurricular activities may be assessed. For reference, the average qualifications for the incoming students in 2016-17 were:
- Freshman cumulative high school GPA – 3.702;
- SAT Composite (writing excluded) – 1051;
- ACT Composite – 25.
Applicant must send their official transcripts in PDF format and proof of US citizenship to the Office of Undergraduate. Also, you might want (it’s not obligatory but highly recommended) to attach ACT or SAT I test scores, recommendation letters, and a link to their ZeeMee profile.
